London tree-removal permits
The City of London Tree Protection By-law applies to private trees with a trunk diameter of at least 50 cm measured 1.4 m above natural ground level within the Urban Growth Boundary, as well as trees of any size in Tree Protection Areas. The permit requirements and exemptions depend on the tree, location and proposed work.
